Description: The INSEIT/Joseph Weizenbaum Award in Information and Computer Ethics is awarded every two years to an individual who has made significant contributions to the field of information and computer ethics through his/her research, service and vision.
Process: Nominations should be submitted to the INSEIT Adjudication Committee, comprised of the INSEIT President, one INSEIT Director, and one member of the INSEIT board. Nominations should include a description of the individual’s contributions; how the individual has impacted the field of information and computer ethics; specific evidence of his/her leadership and vision in promoting the field; and the nominee’s curriculum vita. The Award is presented at the CEPE Conference. The recipient must pay his/her own travel and accommodation expenses; the conference fee will be waived.
