The Economic Law Unit of the ULB - Université libre de Bruxelles, in partnership with the law firm Bird & Bird, in collaboration with the Université de Liège, Université de Montréal and Université de Genève, organizes on March 5th, 2019, a bilingual (FR-EN) interactive international symposium (Law Camp) on the theme "Designing Data Law".

Speakers are invited to submit proposals dedicated to the shaping of Data Law in the European Union, which will be discussed and put to a vote. In the afternoon, the discussions will be continued in plenary session.

The proposals are grouped by theme: Data and Intellectual Property; Data and Competition; Data and Trade Secrets; Data as a Legal Object; Data and Public Authorities; Personal Data and Business; Data and Automated Processing; Data, Science and Education.
