Call for Papers: Special issue of the journal Information, titled Concepts of Ethics and Their Application to AI
News | 23-09-2021 12:29Herman Tavani and Jeff Buechner (Rutgers University) are co-guest-editing a special issue of the journal Information, titled Concepts of Ethics and Their Application to AI.
A detailed description of this special issue, as well as the instructions/guidelines for paper submissions, is available at https://www.mdpi.com/journal/information/special_issues/Ethics_AI.
As indicated on the journal’s website, Information (ISSN 20782489) is an open access journal published by MDPI (Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute) which was founded in 1996 and currently located in Basel, Switzerland.
Information’s impact factor/score is 2.38.
One advantage of publishing in Information is that authors retain the copyright to their published articles.
A downside, however, is that Information, like many other open-access journals, requires an initial fee for having an article published.
However, the editorial staff has assured the editors that the fee for papers in this special issue would be discounted by at least 50% (and might also be negotiable).
In some cases, an author's institution will cover the fee.
Prospective authors can contact Amanda Liu (amanda.liu@mdpi.com) at the journal for more information.
