MembersProfessor of Medicine at the University of Miami. He is founder and director of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine’s Institute for Bioethics and Health Policy and co-director of the University’s Ethics Programs. His research has emphasized issues in health information technology, including bioinformatics or the use of computers in genetics, and in epidemiology and public health.
