International Conference on Information Law and Ethics
The Conference was founded by Maria Bottis in 2008, under the program of postgraduate studies ‘ Science of Information’ and the course ‘Information Law and Ethics’ (from which course it adopted its name).
ICIL started as an international Seminar on information law and ethics, with ten international speakers, reaching four parallel sessions with 130 speakers in 2011 and equal numbers in 2012, in Corfu. ICIL has hosted since 2008 a great number of experts on information law and ethics, representing the best academic institutions in the world.
